my extraordinary birthday!

Simple things bring unbeatable happiness especially when you can sense the sincerity and the effort. It was just a week ago when i turned out to be a real woman (that's how i feel!wink! wink!). At the age of 22, my appreciation to small things goes deeper. And i feel like i'm growing old and was asking for extensive attention and time from my friends and from those who are close to my heart (getting really emotional! hehe!).

My growing old issue, somehow gives little pleasures to me. Some of my closest friends who are extra kindhearted make my birthday celebration for one long week(seems like i'll have empty purse after the week).

It all started August 19 (Sunday) when my brothers and sisters in faith decided to celebrate my birthday in advance.Preparing the grilled liempo and pork ala pobre for our dinner with che, kuya billy & zardo.

On my birthday (August 27)...

with special friend ate leah sharing the ever tempting coffee crunch cake. Simple but extraordinary moment for me. She generously paid for a haircut courtesy of Ystilo Salon as her gift for me.

with my kuyas (kuya allan and billy) and my sister lhen licking on the nestle ice cream.

my dear friend wheng prepared a simple dinner for me in their house (August 29, 2007). with our favorite egg and corn soup, chili hot fried chicken and the unlimited pork barbecue. so sweet of you dear!

and to end this up, below are simple presents that made the celebration extra meanignful to me:

1. pen light from the President of the Philippines;

2. Framed Charcoal Painting from my consistently sweet admirer (wink! wink!);

3. a perk Nike Air necklace from my friend, rommel;

4. silver necklace with an angel pendant from kuya Billy;

5. fresh-from-piggy-bank 500 peso bill from my sister lhen and another one from my multi-talented boss, Sir Jun.

This is such an extraordinary way of celebrating my birthday. worth a thousand smiles. haay! i was just so happy! thanks a lot everyone for making this, a day to last forever! (me, teary eyed)
